Starts out with what looks like it's going to be a French Defence 1.e4 e6 2.d4.. Black changes direction on move 2 with 2.... c5. A relatively unexplored line that has been occasionally played by the likes of Kasparov, Larsen, Uhlmann, Hubner, etc.
It can also be reached from 1.d4 c5 2.d5 e6.
